The Truman show is the most surprisingly good watch I have ever seen. I am a world renowned (a little hyperbole never hurt anyone) Jim Carey cynic. I cannot stand his acting so when a friend recommended this movie to me I was little hesitant. But all my hesitation vapourized ten minutes into the movie courtesy Carey's best performance to date. Agreed other people may have been better suited to the role but Carey does complete justice to a beautifully written movie. Do not miss this one!
