L.A. CONFIDENTIAL (1997)

Director:
Curtis Hanson

Writer:
Brian Helgeland
James Ellroy

Starring:
Kevin Spacey
Russell Crowe
Guy Pearce and others

Aarnav: It's the story of good white actors stranded, but the movie refuses to kick into gear until it's far too late. The plot and storyline is extremely bland. There is very little going on in bringing the various sequence of events in the movie together. Even the main punch/suspense in the movie was poorly delivered. Hardly any suspense or thrill in the movie apart from the poorly directed action scenes. WATCH THE MOVIE IF U LIKE SENSELESS KILLING, POOR SUSPENSE, AND MINDLESS SEX!!!

Pranit: L.A. Confidential is a mesmerizingly sordid tale of sex, betrayal and Los Angeles.  Set in 1950s the story follows the lives of three policemen. It is well directed, beautifully written and exceptionally acted. This movie is a must watch for all people who like movies involving cops.

Aarnav's Rating:3/10
Pranit’s Rating: 8.5/10
